The Cathedral Offertory is the main source of income for the Cathedral, along with donations and hire fees from the Cathedral Centre. It costs around £900.00 a day to run the Cathedral.

Making a donation

There are several ways you can support the mission of the Cathedral:

For anyone wishing to make a regular financial contribution, the best way to do this is by standing order. If you are a taxpayer, you can Gift Aid your donation and the Diocese will be able to claim an extra 25p for every £1.00 you donate at no extra cost to you.

Alternatively you can donate with cash using special numbered weekly envelopes allocated to you.

If you are visiting the Cathedral and wish to make a donation, there are two contactless card machines in the Cathedral, where you can quickly and easily make a contribution and add Gift Aid if you are a tax payer. There is also a QR code to donate on a banner in the Cathedral.
